Happy Sunday. Blame it on the Big Winter, but I’ve decided this summer I’m summer-ing. Here’s how I’m doing that this weekend:

My sister’s usually the one copying me. But after seeing her in the season’s “It” shoe, I’ve decided it’s the middle ground my closet needs (think: more elevated than a sneaker, more comfortable than a sandal).
I’ll ditch my summer wardrobe superhero (a white linen dress) for this unexpectedly stylish color, which is more versatile and infinitely more forgiving. Clumsy girls, our time has come.
This week, I discovered Trader Joe’s is carrying a cult-favorite fruit I’d somehow never tried — and it’s the best thing to happen to me since Sumo Oranges. The season is short, so I’ll be hoarding it like there’s no tomorrow.
Rather than waiting until the night before my first beach trip to decide I hate every bathing suit I own, I’ll replace some of the most dated ones with the quietly chic trend I’m already seeing all over my feeds.
Inspired by the arrival of strawberries at the farmers’ market, I’ll whip up the first of what’ll be many versions of Summer’s Greatest Dessert™ — which is too easy to make and so gooey, it’s best eaten with a spoon.

Friendly reminder: When you call out of work, it’s best to keep a low profile. Especially when — how do we put this — you’re kind of hard to miss. Yes, we’re talking about 6-foot-5 Jacob Elordi, who dropped out of the 2026 Cannes Film Festival jury due to a broken foot. Whether you find that completely reasonable (there are a lot of those iconic steps) or highly questionable (this theory is…interesting), one thing’s clear: Giant Heathcliff is on the mend. Just over a week ago, Elordi and his (maybe) girlfriend Kendall Jenner were spotted in Hawaii, where they were photographed doing this highly relatable thing on the beach, grabbing breakfast, and possibly sharing a paddleboard (we’ll let you be the judge). That was followed by the double date seen round the internet with Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet (correction: “daddy”), which rightfully raised at least one very good question and drew comparisons to a Y2K-era photo that could honestly be a litmus test for millennials. Oh, and a source told People the foursome has “a lot of fun together” and they “really get along.”

That tracks. For those who haven’t been keeping up: While romance rumors first began swirling after Elordi and Kendall were “all over each other” at the Bieberchella afterparty, Kylie apparently played matchmaker for the pair months earlier. During Chalamet’s latest quest for Oscar glory, Kylie spent tons of quality time with Elordi and thought “he would be good for Kenny,” a rather chatty person told the Daily Mail. They added that Kendall, who’s known Elordi for years, wasn’t “sure if she wanted to keep him in the friend zone or not” — but “alpha sister” Kylie and her “dominant Leo energy” convinced Kendall to take the plunge because “she thought it would be fun if she and Timothée and Kenny and Jacob all hung out” (not wrong). As for where things go from here? Front row at the Knicks game? Sharing a table at a certain couple’s wedding? TBD, but please let this genius thought come true.

Graduation season is in full swing — which means a lot of poorly received lectures (sorry, commencement speeches) about AI, famous people collecting more honorary degrees (hi, Lizzie McGuire), and a fresh crop of celeb kids entering “the real world.” In honor of the Nepo-Baby Class of 2026, let us hand out a special set of senior superlatives:

🏆 Most Likely to Still Make Headlines in 40 Years: Apple Martin. Between fronting this high-fashion campaign and landing a role in this highly anticipated movie, it’s safe to say the…apple doesn’t fall far from the tree (read: mom and dad).

🏆 Most Likely to Become President: Zahara Marley Jolie. In addition to having Capitol Hill experience, this Spelman grad also served as the vice president of the Mu Pi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority (Mother-Daughter weekend must’ve been something). And she clearly has the public speaking thing down, too.

🏆 Most likely to Be a Superstar: Stella Chestnut. No, we’re not referring to the Mary Katherine Gallagher kind. Though something tells us if the NYU Tisch alum wanted to star in a sequel to her mom’s iconic film, she could.

🏆 Most Likely to Make His Parents Proud: Ryder Hudson. Actually, he’s already done it by possibly making family history — according to what his mom, Kate Hudson, told Jimmy Fallon during a Tonight Show appearance.

🏆 Most Likely to Be the Gen Z Calvin Harris: Deacon Phillippe. In between taking classes, the son of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe released his first album and DJ’ed a H&M event. Those “West Village prices” aren’t going to pay themselves.

John Travolta, we’re not sure if the reasoning for your collection of Cannes berets makes it more rational or more kooky — but a 20-minute standing ovation for you.

Makes sense, given that the brightly colored acid trip of a movie is from Boots Riley, the filmmaker who gave us the absurdist comedy Sorry to Bother You. Expect to leave the theater wondering: What does it really mean to steal, and where can we get every outfit?
