Saeed Ezzati launched Superpower ChatGPT on the Chrome Web Store within the first week of ChatGPT's release. He originally built the extension for himself in just a couple of days because the native ChatGPT workspace felt broken (threads got buried, there weren't folders, search was weak, exporting was awkward, etc.). Today, the extension sits at 420k+ downloads, 150k weekly active users, and a 5-figure MRR. And he's still solo.

Superpower acts as a productivity layer on top of ChatGPT. Saeed kept the extension 100% free for nine months, funding it through Superpower Daily, an AI newsletter he seeded directly inside the extension. That newsletter now boasts 350k subscribers and pulls in sponsorship revenue that rivals his Pro plan.

Cesar Kuriyama had an idea for an app called 1 Second Everyday, which stitches daily one-second video clips into a yearly montage. The problem is he didn't have the $20k he needed to hire developers.

So on a whim, he applied to give a TED Talk about his video habit. He got picked, the talk blew up, and he rode that momentum straight into a Kickstarter campaign.

Over 11,000 people backed it before he even wrote a line of code. The app launched two weeks after the campaign closed.
