He Made a Faster Social Scheduler ⚡

Petar Georgiev entered the crowded social-media scheduling market because every tool he tried had problems: too expensive, too slow, too basic, etc. He built PostFast alongside his full-time engineering job, reached profitability in about six months, and now brings in €5.4k MRR (roughly $6.3k).

The competitive advantages he offered were a fast UX, media pre-processing that reduced posting failures, and platform approvals that couldn't be copied overnight. Instead of being intimidated by the stiff competition in the market, Petar took it as proof of demand and simply aimed to fixed what users hated.

Build a proof packet before pitching your launch.

Ghost went into Kickstarter with 30,000 people already on its waitlist from Hacker News. That gave journalists and bloggers a story backed with actual data: people wanted this product before the product even existed.

Before asking for coverage, collect one or two hard signals: early signups, a small paid beta, a useful waitlist stat, or unusually strong customer quotes. Then put that proof in the first paragraph of every pitch.

"We're launching X" < "30,000 people signed up for X in a week."
