7 years, 5 failures, then $7.5k/mo 🐌

Filip Panoski shipped five side projects over seven years and made $100 total. Then he quit his $7k/mo dev job and went all in, applying the lessons from those failures. In his case, this meant going with B2B instead of B2C, picking recurring revenue (over e.g. one-time payments), and validating distribution before writing code. He DMed his way to 30 waitlist signups first, then shipped his MVP in a month. Twelve months later, he's at $7.5k/mo.

His new thing, Bazzly, is a Reddit marketing tool for SaaS founders. He grew it almost entirely by dogfooding and using Bazzly to grow… Bazzly. Most interestingly imo, he cut his pricing from three tiers down to a single $99 plan, which significantly boosted revenue. And when growth stalled at $1k MRR, he gave away a 50% partnership to bring on a bigger name in the space instead of staying solo out of principle.
