This founder built for 48 hours, then hit $30k MRR 🏗️

Hasaam Bhatti was working a corporate job and running two Amazon brands when he found Cursor. He had no CS degree and had never shipped software, but he did have one very specific pain: every new Amazon product idea took 20 to 30 hours of copy-pasting research into Google Sheets. So he pitched a potential partner with an offer: give me 48 hours, and I’ll build the tool.

That tool became Launch Fast, an Amazon seller research product that hit $10k MRR in 30 days and is now at $30k MRR. Funny enough, the first four hours of product development didn't go to coding in Cursor, but to mapping out workflows, SOPs, and seller data. He gave himself a deadline to force himself to turn a problem he already understood into a demo someone could use.

Another smart move: solving distribution before the product even existed. Hasaam bought "LegacyX", a coaching program with thousands of active Amazon sellers, where he traded equity for access to people who already had the problem.

This is worthwhile reading for all entrepreneurs, but especially non-technical types using AI to build their products!

That's basically the EaseMyTrip story. Nishant, Rikant, and Prashant Pitti built an Indian travel-booking platform for flights, hotels, and holiday packages, then stopped charging convenience fees on flight bookings (unlike their competitors).

Customers noticed the cheaper final price, came back, and told other people. After going public, EaseMyTrip crossed a $1B market cap.

Note that this only works if the business is lean enough to survive without the fee everyone else relies on. Otherwise your big differentiator is just a very fast way to run out of margin.
